Mathletics Reflection 5/10/13

· Something I was pleased with was I got a really good design.

                            

…because I combined a couple of design to make my mathletics.

· I really enjoyed learning how to get the centre of the page really easy.

                  

…because last year it was a bit difficult.

· Something I found hard was making the measurements as accurate as can be.

· Something that made me think was what design can I combine.

                  …because there are so many possibilities.

· Something I want to get better at is drawing lighter.

My year so far in Room 16 by Zeb

My favourite thing about being in Room 16 in 2013 is the people in this class are really nice and fun.

Something I would like to do in term four is play T ball.

Something I would like to do next year is use computers.

My dream jobs would be a writer or a director like George Lucas.

Reading

The best thing about reading so far this year is I get to use Actively learn.

The best thing I read this year was Ozzie Kingsford book. I liked it because I was really funny.

This is my favourite reading blog post Letter to Ken Catran with trailer that I created. I chose it because Dead Harry is one of my favourite suberb books in the world!

This is my favourite reading post from someone else is Inderpreet’s Literacy Circle And Hatchet Assignments. I think it is awesome because It was really cool to read and Inderpreet told me his experience in the literacy circle.

Maths

The best thing about maths so far this year is that there is a fun symbaloo to help me.

I was most proud of learning lots of strategies. I was proud because I didn’t know much before.

This is my favourite maths blog post is my Basic Facts Results that I created. I chose it because I had fun learning how to make a chart on Google Docs.

This is my favourite maths post from someone else is Teva’s post. Multiply. I think it is awesome because last year I had some trouble with 5x. And I think Teva would have really helped.

Writing

The best thing about writing so far this year is I know much more than I did last year and I understand more about writing.

I was most proud of learning how to enjoy writing. I was proud because Before I was in a digi class, I felt like writing was a chore.

This is my favourite writing post from someone else is Teva’s The lighting Track Part 1. I think it is awesome because It’s really really interesting, It like sucks you in.

I am really good at Short sharp sentences, punctuation, beginning in the action, strong verbs, humour, typing fast, having fun writing.

I want to get better at Being more intense. (More action)

Integrated Topic

My favourite part of topic has been science experiments. I enjoyed it because It’s really cool to see what happens.

This is my favourite topic blog post is my How To Survive In The Bush.that I created. I chose it because It took a lot of work but it was really fun.

This is my favourite topic post from someone else is Teva’s My Minecraft Taj Mahal. I think it is awesome because he was the only one who did it this way.

Room 17 gave us a good formula.
That formula is: 9 faces + 9 corners - 2 = 16 edges.

My group's maths game

This is the game we all made up.

Eden
This is our maths game. In our group we have been working
on our 5 multiplication facts so then we would know them
without thinking about it and also we need practice And with
the gaming and work it will help us with our working out and
working as a group and as companionship. I think we're
an awesome group we all work very well together and it's easy with
the help of Mr Moriarty and every so often Mrs Sullivan and sometimes
we go to room 2 and there is usually all the senior teachers and Miss Hill
I personally think that as a group were just moving up kinda like nothing can stop us.
Zeb This is my groups 5x maths game. We use it to practice our x and having fun at the same time.
It is important to have our game so we can learn our 5x because 2x,5x and 10x all go together.
So we need to learn them all.

So there's 4 players in the game or more. There’s question in the boxes and at near the bottom there’s bonus tracks so that you can work out where there's next. You can go forward and answer the question move up more and if you answer it again and you had your turn you can do that if you're fast enough.
